A very rare and original 1920's halter neck gown that features a keyhole neckline and exposed open back.
This shimmering fabric was crafted in Cairo during the 1920s. Known as Tulle-bi-telli it is a hand-woven textile that originated in Upper Egypt during the 19th Century. This exquisite fabric is meticulously constructed, by intertwining cotton or linen threads with silver metal, resulting in stunning geometric patterns inspired by the Art Deco Movement.
